Last week, we had the opportunity to attend to another new and challenging cargo project operation at MSC Terminal Valencia received the new ‘Liebherr Ship to Shore’ crane type ‘MalaccaMax’, with the intention to welcome and have the suitable facilities for the largest ships in the world.

This crane, built at Liebherr Container Cranes factory shipped from Ireland on board the Koper arrived at Valencia and was unloaded after a long intervention of 2 days.

The crane will provide services to vessels up to 73 meters, a clear height from the quay of 54 meters and a capacity of 65 tons.

Certainly, the new Liebherr will provide to the Port of Valencia a new door for ocean trade of new vessel size generation staying competitive and up to date on the needs of international shipping.
